River Fishing Report

5040 cfs @ Turah, 19500 cfs @ Missoula, 25600 cfs @ St. Regis. On the drop but this river is high cold and not much of an option. Runoff is still happening, but its starting to drop with the cooler weather we have been seeing. The fishing down around Superior will be the first part of the river to fish once we see flows start to level out but give it a week or so. If you do fish the clark, focus on the mouth's of the tribs on the color seams and be VERY careful wading. Try going underneath with basic bead head nymph patterns or the worm will produce some fish but your going to have to work for them. Long dead drifts are going to be the best way to hook fish. Streamers like buggers, JJ specials, yuk bugs and sculpins or tandem nymph rigs with stonefly nymphs, princes, worms, flashy PTs, or eggs fished deep under an indicator.
