River Fishing Report
The Trout fishing has been good the fish are active and the rain and storms push the fish up river. That means more fish and more fun. For a secret weapon try a rubber legged nymph down near the bottom with a little action to it and see what happens. Also, plan to get here early or stay late for the hatch. Fish small dry flies on and just under the surface for best results.
For all you striped bass hunters...the lake is getting right for those guys to start coming up to the top as well! The afternoons are better for seeing surface feeding in the lake, but it won't be long before they are seen in the morning and throughout the day as well. Its worth the ride up to the dam on the lake side to see if they are coming up around the boat ramps.
