River Fishing Report
Flows on the Trinity are down to 300 cfs out of Lewiston dam.
We finally got some water!! With good solid rains on the Trinity this past week -- 3 inches on Tuesday alone! -- the waters finally came up a bit, warmed up a bit, and colored up a bit. By Thursday morning the river was fishable all the way down to Junction City with some good color to the water. Even better, the rains got the steelhead on the move, and the fish that had been stacked up in Junction City are spread throughout the river now. With warmer water temperatures, the fish are aggressive, eating flies well, and smokin' hot when hooked. It may get dry and cold and clear again, but for now we're in steelhead bliss on the Trinity!
